Unique from other Japanese green teas (which are steamed), Hojicha is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal and then fired at a high temperature. This reduces the caffeine content of the infusion, making Hojicha a popular tea to consume in the evening. Hojicha is full bodied, with a rich toasty aroma and nutty flavour.
This Hojicha blend is full of decadent chocolate-y richness. Enjoy as an afternoon treat, especially as a latte!
I have used Edible Final Touch for a couple of projects. They produce high quality icing sheets every time! I would not hesitate to use their services.
From a print quality perspective the picture was perfect. However we followed the instructions for laying the image on the cake and it never melted into the cake as we hoped. Even after two days sitting on top of the cake the image was still difficult to cut cleanly and was like eating paper. I will try again to see if the result was something I did wrong but I was disappointed with this first result.
Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re glad to hear the print quality met your expectations, but we’re sorry the icing sheet didn’t blend into the cake as you had hoped. The type of frosting, moisture level, and even refrigeration can all affect how quickly an edible image softens. We’d love the opportunity to help troubleshoot what happened and offer some tips for the best results next time. Please feel free to reach out—we’d be happy to help make your next experience a better one.
