Our premium edible wafer papers are perfect for cakes, candies, and cookies. Made of potato starch, water, and vegetable oil, they are versatile and durable. Wafer paper holds edible prints longer and delivers better image quality compared to traditional rice paper.
Wafer paper is commonly used in cake decorating and pastry-making as a decorative element, as it can be easily cut, shaped, and molded into various forms.
Which thickness should I choose?
- 0.27 mm – Ultra-thin, ideal for drink toppers and dissolvable decorations. Flexible, not suitable for standing.
- 0.4 mm – Light and semi-flexible. Perfect for burn-away cakes or flat toppers.
- 0.6 mm – Semi-firm for cupcake toppers. Holds shape well on icing.
- 0.8 mm – Thickest and strongest. Best for stand-up designs and sturdy shapes.
Wafer papers are sold by the sheet.

Wafer paper vs. Icing or frosting sheet
Colour Disclaimer: Edible inks are used for printing; colours will not look exactly the same as on your monitor. Variations are normal, and colours often brighten once absorbed by frosting/icing. Due to the nature of edible inks and icing sheets, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed. Monitor settings and lighting conditions may also affect perception of printed colours.
