Blank Edible Sheet Packs: Set Up a Two-Zone Print Station
A blank edible-sheet pack is easier to manage when the sealed reserve and today’s working sheets never mingle. A simple two-zone setup protects your count, keeps formats clear and makes the next print run quicker to plan.
Build the station in four moves
1. Create a reserve zone
Keep unopened packs together and move only the sheets needed for the current job into the working zone. Retain the original packaging and follow the storage guidance supplied for that exact material; icing and wafer products should not be treated as interchangeable.
2. Choose the format before opening
The 24-pack of blank A4 icing sheets suits everyday toppers and smaller layouts. The 10-pack of blank A3 icing sheets gives larger designs, side panels and wraps more uninterrupted printable space. Confirm that your edible-ink printer accepts the selected format before loading it.
3. Label wafer paper by thickness
Store each wafer paper pack with its thickness visible. The live options use different pack quantities and are intended for different decorating jobs, so never replace one thickness with another simply because both sheets fit the printer.
4. Track three numbers
Record sheets received, sheets moved into the working zone and sheets used. Set your own reorder point from real weekly use plus upcoming bookings—not from a guess made during a busy print run.
